China, Iceland renew currency swap pact for 3 years, PBoC says

The People’s Bank of China said on its website Monday it has renewed a 66 billion Icelandic krona (US$547.26 million) currency swap agreement with Iceland’s central bank to facilitate trade and promote financial cooperation between the two countries. The accord will run for another three years, after which it can be renewed again, the PBoC said.
