Premier Li Keqiang has pledged to create better working and living conditions for foreign experts as China continues to open up to the outside world, Xinhua news agency reported, citing the leader’s remarks at the annual Friendship Award ceremonies in Beijing on Monday. Li said the nation has made great achievements due to the hard work of the Chinese people and contributions from foreign experts. Fifty outstanding foreign experts received the Friendship Award this year for their contributions in various fields. Since the annual honor was established in 1991, a total of 1,299 from 67 countries and regions have been given the award.
