ADB forecasts 7.6% GDP growth in China in 2013, paper says

The Asian Development Bank forecasts that growth in China’s gross domestic product will ease to 7.6 percent this year, 0.1 percentage point lower than the level in 2012, the Securities Times reported Wednesday, citing the bank. China has adopted a more sustainable model of development and gradually lessened its dependence on investment- and export-led expansion, the report said. Overall GDP growth in Asia’s developing economies might fall to 6 percent this year from 6.1 percent in 2012 and rebound to 6.2 percent in 2014.
