China, Indonesia extend currency swap deal, PBoC says

The People’s Bank of China and Bank Indonesia signed an extension on Tuesday to a bilateral currency swap agreement valued at 100 billion yuan (US$16.33 billion), or 175 trillion Indonesian rupiah, the central bank announced on its website late Tuesday. The agreement, which will boost trade and investment between Indonesia and China, will run for three years and can be extended as agreed by both parties, the report said.
