Survey seeks public views on holiday arrangements, paper says

The National Holiday Office on Thursday launched a survey on several websites to ask the public whether they are satisfied with the present national holiday arrangements, the Beijing Times reported Friday. The survey is also soliciting public views on whether long holidays such as the October 1 “Golden Week” should be kept as is. As of 11:31 p.m., some 53,074 people voted on Sina.com, with over 70 percent of respondents saying they are not happy with existing holiday arrangements, the report said.
