China, Vietnam agree to three-track deal on ties, Xinhua says

Premier Li Keqiang and his Vietnamese counterpart, Nguyen Tan Dung, agreed on Sunday to deepen maritime, onshore and financial cooperation between their two countries, Xinhua reported Sunday. The countries agreed to set up joint work groups for the three areas this year, the report said. Li called for the two countries to make progress in their joint development at the mouth of the Beibu Bay; improve cooperation in infrastructure, trade and investment; and negotiate on a currency swap deal.
