Shanghai to cut fine particle pollution, paper says

Shanghai has announced plans to cut fine particulate pollution by 20 percent in the five years to 2017, 21st Century Business Herald reported Monday. The city government will enforce higher pollution standards for oil products, control the number vehicles on roads and tighten environmental requirements for energy-intensive industries, the report said. In addition, a traffic congestion levy is under consideration.
