SASAC inspectors told to endorse corruption report, paper says

Wang Qishan {王歧山}, the head of the Communist Party’s top disciplinary body, has asked inspectors from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) to put their names to a report on lavish spending at China Railway Construction Corp. Ltd. (01186.HK, 601186.CN), a move to ensure inspectors take personal responsibility to prevent future excesses, National Business Daily reported Tuesday. An unnamed SASAC source said it’s the first time such a request has been made in the government’s ongoing anti-corruption campaign. SASAC is set to hold a teleconference on Tuesday to unveil the results of its investigation, the report said.
