China Construction Bank Corp. (CCB) (00939.HK, 601939.CN) said in a regulatory filing Sunday that it posted a net profit of 176.48 billion yuan (US$29.02 billion) for the nine months to September, representing an increase of 11.56 percent over that achieved in the same period last year. Revenue came in at 378.88 billion yuan, up 10.64 percent from a year ago. As of end-September, total loans to customers totaled 8.38 trillion yuan, up 11.5 percent from a year earlier, while non-performing loans increased by 7.47 billion yuan to 82.09 billion yuan. Deposits from customers reached 12.12 trillion yuan, marking an increase of 6.8 percent year on year, while the loan-to-deposit ratio was 69.14 percent, staying at a reasonable level, the bank said.
