Nissin to keep Demae Iccho output in HK, paper says

Nissin Foods said it will beef up mainland sales of its instant noodles, including the popular Demae Iccho brand, Kyodo News reported Sunday. Nissin expects combined mainland and Hong Kong sales to grow to 32.2 billion yen (US$330.13 million) in 2015, up from 20.8 billion yen in 2012. Despite owning a number of instant noodle production lines on the mainland, Nissin said Demae Iccho will continue to be made in Hong Kong to ensure its reputation for safety and quality, the report said.
