Logistics sector growth slows to 9.5% in Jan-Sept, paper says

China’s logistics sector grew 9.5 percent in the first nine months of the year, 0.1 percentage point slower than the growth posted in the same period last year but up 0.4 point from that for the first six months, Beijing Business Today reported Tuesday, citing figures released by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.The industry moved 145.7 trillion yuan (US$23.94 trillion) in goods around the country in the period, it said. The federation expects the sector to remain stable this quarter as upgrades continue, with annual growth coming in at around 10 percent, the report said.
