World Bank lauds China business reform progress, paper says

A World Bank report has said China is among the top 20 economies globally that have taken efforts to improve the business regulations since 2005, the Shanghai Daily reported Wednesday. China has implemented 18 regulatory reforms since 2005 which made it easier for local entrepreneurs to do business, the World Bank Group was quoted as saying in a report released Tuesday. The reforms are said to have helped China narrow the gap with global good practices.
