China’s internet advertising market continues to heat up, rising 24.2 percent to 28.77 billion yuan (US$4.72 billion) in the three months to September, compared with the previous quarter, Xinhua news agency reported on Wednesday, citing an industry analyst. Internet video advertising has become a major sub-sector with a market size of 3.25 billion yuan, up 13 percent from the previous three monthsm, Analysys International said. Online searching, meanwhile, grew 20.3 percent quarter on quarter to 11.28 billion yuan. The top three online search service providers were Baidu Inc., with 76.9 percent share of the market, Google China with 12.2 percent and Sogou.com with 8 percent, the report said.
