Mainland China saw its trade with Hong Kong grow 25.6 percent to US$297.39 billion in the nine months to September from a year earlier, China News Service reported Wednesday, citing data from the Ministry of Commerce. Its exports to Hong Kong rose 27.1 percent to US$284.79 billion during the period. At the end of September, Hong Kong investment in the mainland reached US$646.19 billion, involving 357,340 projects and accounting for 47.3 percent of all foreign capital during the period, the report said. Meanwhile, mainland’s trade with Macau was up 29.6 percent at US$2.65 billion.
