Tough but better year ahead for foreign trade, ministry says

China will face better internal and external conditions for foreign trade next year and is headed for continued stable growth, despite the many difficulties and risks ahead, the Ministry of Commerce said in a quarterly foreign trade analysis report on Wednesday. China’s share of the world’s exports is expected to rise slightly this year because government policies have strengthened corporate confidence and helped stabilize foreign trade growth, according to the report. The ministry will implement more measures to speed up improvements to foreign trade, cultivate new competitive edges and help build globally famous brands.
