58.com shares soar 42% on NYSE debut, website reports

Shares of mainland internet firm 58.com (NYSE: WUBA) ended their first trading day on the New York Stock Exchange at US$24.12 per American Depositary Shares (ADSs) Thursday, a 41.88 percent increase over the US$17 per share issue price, news website finance.jrj.com.cn reported Thursday. Each ADS represents two Class A ordinary shares. The underwriters have the option to buy up to 1.65 million additional ADSs, the report said.
