Consumer complaints vs insurers up 28% Jan-Sept, Xinhua says

The China Insurance and Regulatory Commission (CIRC) said Thursday that it has received a total of 15,080 complaints relating to consumer rights in insurance sales during the first nine months of the year, marking an increase of 28.44 percent over the same period last year, Xinhua news agency reported. China Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (2628.HK) topped its life insurance peers in terms of the number of complaints received, with 2,386 cases. PICC Property & Casualty Co. Ltd. (2328.HK) saw the most complaints in the property and casual insurance segment, with 1,333 cases, the report said.
