Chinese and Scottish firms have inked deals worth around 400 million yuan (US$65.09 million), covering fields such as oil and gas, software, construction and life sciences, the China Securities Journal reported Tuesday, citing Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond. Among the various deals, Scotland’s Safehouse Habitats secured a contract worth US$240,000 from CNOOC to provide safe-working environment services in the Chinese market, it said.
