Guangzhou Evergrande Football Club, which won the AFC Champions League on Saturday, the first ever by a Chinese side, plans to roll out its own brand of mineral water products, news portal Sina.com reported Sunday. The football club, backed up by Evergrande Real Estate Group Ltd. (03333.HK), will invest in two manufacturing facilities capable of producing 400,000 tons and 800,000 tons each year respectively. Evergrande will leverage its real estate property projects to help promote the products. Head coach Marcello Lippi has been designated ambassador of the beverage brand, the report said.
