BMW China 10-month sales up 20%, statement says

BMW Group said its sales in mainland China rose 20 percent year on year to 264,884 units in the 10 months to October. Global sales increased 7.3 percent to a record 1.6 million units while sales in Asia grew 17.7 percent to 469,434 units, it said in a statement on its website Monday. The company reported record monthly sales in October alone, with 165,851 units of BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles delivered worldwide, up 5.2 percent from a year earlier.
