Green energy firm GCL Poly Energy Holdings (03800.HK) posted a five-fold year-on-year increase in third-quarter polysilicon sales volume to 4,018 metric tons, according to a filing to the stock exchange late Monday. Total polysilicon output for the three months was 13,550 metric tons, up 77.6 percent from a year earlier. The company’s solar wafer production rose 26.8 percent to 5,998 million watts, with an average selling price of 21 US cents per watt. It sold 4.29 billion kilowatt hours of electricity on the mainland in the nine months to September, 5.3 percent more than the same time last year.
