CHEC to build hotels, golf course in Sri Lanka, report says

A Chinese engineering firm will build two hotels and a golf course in a US$500 million project in the southern Sri Lankan town of Mattala, Xinhua reported Thursday. China Harbor Engineering Company will also build a 250-room hotel and duty-free shopping complex in Mattala, Sri Lanka’s Airport and Aviation Services executive director Johanne Jayaratne said. The company built a US$209 million Chinese government-funded international airport in the town, the report said.
