Toyota Motor Corp. will develop hybrid cars with Chinese partners FAW Group Corp. and Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. (02238.HK), Kyodo news agency reported Thursday. Toyota will use its new research center in Changshu, Jiangsu province, for the purpose. It plans to equip its China-made hybrid cars with local parts from 2015, the report said. Toyota has sold more than five million hybrid vehicles worldwide since it launched its first Prius model in 1997.
