Higher use squeezes crude oil inventory in Oct, Xinhua says

China’s crude oil inventory declined 1.84 percent month on month in October as consumption reached a yearly high and output and net imports fell, Xinhua reported late Monday, citing its monitoring service. Compared with levels at the end of September, domestic crude oil consumption climbed 2.43 million metric tons and net import volume dropped by 5.31 million metric tons to 20.3 million metric tons. Gasoline reserves were down 1.27 percent from a month earlier, diesel inventories fell by 10.35 percent, and kerosene supplies dropped 4.61 percent.
