Requirements eased for private airline pilot license, CNA says

The Civil Aviation of Administration has eased rules for securing a pilot’s license to fly private airplanes, the China News Agency reported Wednesday, citing a statement from the regulatory body. Under the new rules, applicants must be at least 17 years old, healthy, has completed 40 hours of theoretical study and flight training and passed required examinations, according to the statement. Previously, the requirements were similar to those for securing a pilot’s license for commercial airplanes, the report said.
