NDRC set to raise oil prices amid Mid-East tension, Xinhua says

The National Development and Reform Commission may raise prices of refined oil products on Thursday, the start of a new 10-day price adjustment window, after tensions in the Middle East pushed up international prices, Xinhua reported Wednesday. If it goes through, the increase will be the seventh in domestic oil prices this year. Analyst Li Hong from research website 100ppi.com said the increase should be around 100 yuan (US$16.41) per metric ton, which is equal to a rise of about 0.1 yuan per liter of petrol for retail users, the report said.
