Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. remained in the top spot in China’s large-screen TV market, involving panel sizes of 55 inches or more, in the nine months to September, Yonhap news agency reported Thursday, citing data from market research firm DisplaySearch. Samsung had a market share of 18.5 percent in the segment during the period, up from 16.6 percent last year, the report said. The Korean firm expects its market share will be close to 20 percent by the year-end and that it is likely to improve even further next year. Skyworth Digital Holdings Co. Ltd. (00751.HK) came in second with a market share of 15.2 percent, followed by TCL Multimedia Technology Holdings Ltd. (01070.HK) with 14 percent, the report said.
