Sinolink Securities Co. Ltd. (600109.CN) is working with Tencent Holdings Ltd. (00700.HK) to explore opportunities for co-launching some financial services products, the China Securities Journal reported Friday. It cited Sinolink vice president Ji Lu as saying that some of the cooperation with Tencent will be exclusive, mainly the collaboration with Tencent’s instant messaging service arm qq.com. The two sides will work together on services such as online securities, online wealth management and other high-end investment activities. Sinolink has denied earlier media reports that suggested that Tencent is becoming a shareholder in the former, the report said.
