Interchina Watertreatment buys 42% stake in Josab, paper says

Heilongjiang Interchina Watertreatment Co. Ltd. (600187.CN) said it has entered into an agreement to acquire 11.47 million shares of Stockholm-based Josab International AB, equivalent to a 42 percent stake, for 32 million yuan (US$5.25 million), the China Securities Journal reported Monday. The deal will make Heilongjiang Interchina the biggest shareholder of the Swedish provider of water treatment technologies. Founded in 1999, the listed Josab has subsidiaries in India, Kenya and Hungary, and has started business development in Asia, Africa and Europe, the report said.
