November non-manufacturing PMI falls to 56.0, NBS says

China’s non-manufacturing purchasing managers index, a gauge of business activity, fell to 56.0 in November, 0.3 point lower than the 2013 high recorded in October, according to data jointly released by the National Bureau of Statistics and the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. The new orders index fell from 51.6 to 51.0 in November, while the business expectations sub-index climbed 0.8 point to 61.3, the data showed. A figure above 50 suggests expansion.
