Auto exports through Manzhouli double in Jan-Oct, CNS says

Auto exports through the Inner Mongolian city of Manzhouli, China’s largest inland port, jumped in volume by 109 percent year on year to 1,759 units in the first 10 months, China News Service reported Tuesday, citing regional customs authorities. The total value of the exports was US$13.92 million, up 52 percent. Most of the exports were cars and went to Russia, which has been gradually cutting its auto import tariffs since it became a member of the World Trade Organization in August last year, the report said.
