Chinese companies took service outsourcing orders worth US$64.81 billion in the first 10 months of the year, up 41.6 percent from a year earlier, Xinhua news agency reported Tuesday, citing data from the Ministry of Commerce. Fulfilled orders were worth US$45.66 billion, up 34.1 percent. Offshore service outsourcing rose 42.5 percent to US$45.25 billion while fulfilled orders came in at US$32.34 billion, up 36.3 percent. The service outsourcing industry had 738,000 workers during the period, the report said.
