Ma wants politics out of cross-strait services pact, CNS says

Taiwan President Ma Ying-jeou {馬英九} said legislators should keep politics out of a cross-strait services agreement pending before parliament, China News Service reported Tuesday. The deal, signed in June, is awaiting approval by the Taiwanese legislature. Ma warned that Taiwanese industries could lose out on opportunities to grow in the mainland if lawmakers fail to ratify the agreement, the report said.
