China’s machinery exports rose 1.2 percent during the first 10 months, China News Service reported Thursday, citing data from the China Machinery Industry Federation. Export value edged up in the three months to October. No figures were given. About 19.37 million motor cars were produced in the mainland during those 10 months, up 17 percent year on year. It was the seventh consecutive month of yearly increases of 15 percent or above. Demand for China-made machinery should continue to grow at a moderate pace, a federation official was quoted as saying.
