Iron ore price to fall in December amid easing demand, CISA says

Iron ore price will decline in December amid easing demand from iron and steel producers, the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) said in a report late Thursday. Iron ore inventory at Chinese ports was 87.43 million metric tons at the end of November, up 6.77 million metric tons or 8.39 percent from a year ago. In the first 10 months, CISA members recorded a slim profit margin of 0.43 percent while iron and steel mills reported a loss, it said.
