NDRC may announce fuel price hike this week, report says

China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) may announce a hike in the prices of refined oil products by over 100 yuan (US$16.34) per ton at the December 12 price adjustment window, the National Business Daily reported Tuesday. Under the new pricing regime which came into effect in March, domestic fuel prices will be adjusted whenever world crude prices change more than 50 yuan per ton over the previous 10 working days. Analysts were quoted as saying that the uptrend in wholesale prices of refined oil may slow down.
