Foxconn Technology Group said it posted revenue of NT$456.17 billion (US$15.44 billion) in November, up 19.2 percent from the previous month, Taiwan’s Economic Daily News reported Wednesday. The figure is up 18 percent from the same month last year, a historic high. Foxconn’s November revenue beat market expectations and overshadowed those of its peers. It is bigger than the year-to-date revenue of Acer Group and is 10 times the November revenue of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Surging sales of Apple’s iPhone 5s, iPad Air and Vizio television systems as well as game consoles from Microsoft and Sony powered Foxconn’s November performance, unnamed analysts were quoted as saying.
