China 2014 GDP growth goal seen not less than 7.5%, CNS says

China’s gross domestic product growth target for 2014 will not be less than 7.5 percent, China News Service cited Yin Wenquan, deputy director of the Institute of Economic System and Management under the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), as saying. A number of institutions, including the State Information Center, have said earlier that the central government might lower the 2014 GDP growth target to 7.0 percent. China’s economy is set for several decades of high-speed growth, if all the reform policies suggested at the Communist Party plenum last month are rolled out smoothly, Yin was quoted as saying Wednesday.
