New business registrations up 42% in November, report says

New business registrations in November rose 41.85 percent to 251,400 from a month ago, China News Service reported Wednesday, citing data from the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. Of the new registrations, 248,000 are domestic businesses while 3,400 are foreign-funded. At the end of November, there were 15.04 million registered businesses across the nation, up 1.35 percent from the end of October, while their combined registered capital grew 1.36 percent to 95.29 trillion yuan (US$15.69 trillion) from the previous month, the report said.
