Finance groups look to central China for growth, paper says

Representatives from a total of 23 international financial groups aim to expand business in Hubei and other provinces in central China, the China Securities Journal reported Friday, citing Starr Group president Rick Niu, who is heading the delegation. Niu told a forum in Wuhan Thursday that the trip yielded six business areas worthy of development, with insurance the main prospect and three others ready for investment. The delegation included representatives from CME Group, KPMG and Madison Insurance Group, the report said.
