Sinoma International Engineering Co. Ltd. (600970.CN) said it has secured an engineering contract worth US$536 million from Nigeria-based Dangote Cement PLC, the China Securities Journal reported Thursday. Under the deal, Sinoma will help build two cement production lines for the African firm, with each facility having a capacity to produce 6,000 tons of cement a day. The project is at Sagamu town in the West African nation. Sinoma’s work includes project design, equipment procurement, factory construction, machinery installation, testing and performance review. The first shipment date for the cement facility is 25 months after the signing of contract, the report said.
