Candidates face listing cancelation by regulator, paper says

More than a dozen companies had their listing plans canceled by the securities regulator in the five months to November for failing to meet tougher requirements, 21st Century Herald reported Monday, citing an unnamed senior broker. In the first half, five listing applications were thrown out, bringing the total to 289 this year. More than 700 candidates must resubmit their listing applications under the new rules.
