A survey has shown that 69.8 percent of bankers see China’s macro economy in the current quarter as “normal”, the People’s Bank of China (PBoC) said on Thursday. It marks an improvement from the preceding quarter, when only 57.6 percent of the survey respondents had deemed the economy to be normal. The Bankers’ Macro Economy Confidence Index, meanwhile, increased 10.3 percentage points from the previous quarter to 71.3 percent. The index for total loan demand was down 0.3 percentage point to 74.4 percent.
