Coal oversupply seen persisting in 1H 2014, report says

China’s coal industry is set to see its structural oversupply situation continue into the first half of 2014, with inventory levels expected to remain high, news website caijing.com cited the China National Coal Association (CNCA) as saying. Supply and demand is expected to become more balanced in the second half of next year. The CNCA expects the coal industry to see a slight increase in profitability in the latter half of 2014, the report said.
