No changes to the prices of gasoline and diesel products were announced for the Dec. 27 price adjustment window, the official Xinhua news agency reported Thursday, citing an online statement from the National Development and Reform Commission. Under the new pricing regime which came into effect in March, domestic fuel prices will be adjusted whenever world crude prices change more than 50 yuan (US$8.24) per metric ton over the previous 10 working days. Oil prices have been hiked eight times and cut seven times this year, resulting in an increase of 5 yuan per metric for gasoline and a fall of 15 yuan per metric ton for diesel. The next adjustment window opens on Jan. 10, the report said.
