Qihoo 360 ordered to pay damages to Baidu, paper says

A Chinese court has rejected an appeal by online security software maker Qihoo 360 Technology Co. Ltd. and upheld its initial ruling that it has to pay 400,000 yuan (US$65,885.33) in damages to search engine Baidu Inc. for unfair competition, the Beijing Times reported on Sunday. In its lawsuit, Baidu had accused Qihoo 360 of changing the Baidu search interface and “hijacking” web traffic via one of its online security software titles, the report said.
