Chongqing Changan Automobile Co. Ltd. (000625.CN, 200625.CN) said Monday sales for 2013 grew 21.3 percent to 2.13 million units from the previous year, Xinhua news agency reported. The growth, the fourth highest among automakers nationwide, was 12 percentage points above the industry average, company president Zhang Baolin was quoted as saying. Sales revenue was up 40.4 percent at 160 billion yuan (US$26.4 billion), the carmaker said. For 2014, the company aims to sell 2.33 million units, including 600,000 own-brand vehicles, with a revenue of 175 billion yuan, the report said.
