China says Abe shrine visit shuts door on dialogue, CNS reports

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has shut the door of dialogue between Beijing and Tokyo with his visit last week to the Yasukuni Shrine, which commemorates Japan’s war-dead including World War II criminals, China News Service cited Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Qin Gang as saying. Abe has been ignoring China’s protests and negotiations and has sabotaged Sino-Japan political foundations by turning his back on the principles and spirit of the four political documents signed between the two countries, Qin was quoted as saying at a regular press conference Monday.
