S Korea seeks more economic cooperation with China, Yonhap says

China and South Korea need to cooperate more to meet the global economic challenges, which include slowing growth of emerging economies, tepid recovery of developed economies, and impact of the US Federal Reserve’s decision to scale back its monthly bond purchases, Yonhap news agency cited South Korea’s Deputy Prime Minister and Strategy and Finance minister Hyun Oh-seok as saying on Monday. At a China-South Korea economic meeting in Seoul, representatives from both countries agreed that it is necessary to join hands to deal with issues such as global capital flows, the report said.
