South Korea and China will hold a new round of negotiations next week on a bilateral free trade agreement (FTA), Yonhap news agency reported Thursday, citing the South Korean government. The talks will be held in China’s Xi’an city and will run from Monday to Friday, it said. It will mark the ninth round of the FTA negotiation. The two sides are expected to continue discussions on the level of market liberalization and the list of products to be covered in the liberalization. Separate discussions will also be held on the opening of service and investment markets, the report said.
